Salud Presents: "Men Don't Talk About Mental Health" Mental Health Club as part of our Salud Inmigrante efforts to support community healing during the ongoing impact on the cultura.
We’ve been expected to pursue our mental health journey alone, while facing the same collective trauma in Chicago right now. Especially para la cultura Latina.
Culture and community should not be a side note in approaching mental health. Stigma breaks when we prioritize how we’re doing alongside the people we love. Creating space to ask how wellness can look for each of us. That is why Salud is grateful to lead mental health talks in Pilsen. With your support, this can become accessible & sustainable. Please help us in showing our city we’ve been ready for the conversation on how we’re doing.

No On-Site Registration There will be no on-site registrations and guests must have an Eventbrite ticket to be scanned in for capacity purposes.
Need to Cancel? This event is free and in service to our communities with optional suggested donations. Our leaders carefully consider the capacity of each event to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. We kindly ask that you honor your reservation. If, for any reason, you're unable to attend an event you signed up for, please take a moment to cancel your reservation. About Salud Salud is a Latine family founded nonprofit created by and for the community. We are an organization led by psychologists, social workers, case managers, and health care providers who have similar backgrounds to the communities we serve. Salud was started to help normalize conversations about mental health. We believe that if we want to discuss topics like mental health, there should be spaces that offer a safe, trusted, appropriate & professionally led approach to help do so in our communities. Salud applies research & evidence-based approaches to create a safe space to intentionally facilitate these conversations and create space for the communities we serve. Salud acknowledges that these formally led conversations can happen in different settings, from large universities to intimate spaces within our communities.
