The Salty Dog Triathlon begins at 7 a.m. at Salt City Splash Aquatic Center in Carey Park, challenging participants to complete a 400-meter pool swim, a 10.5-mile bike ride on a vehicle-free course, and a 3.1-mile run along paved park trails—all within the scenic setting of Carey Park. The event is chip-timed to ensure accurate tracking of each leg, transition, and overall results.Following the main event, the Salty Pup Triathlon offers a youth-focused version for participants ages 15 and under. Designed as a shorter but similar course within Carey Park, young athletes will complete a 100-meter swim, a 4.2-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Like the Salty Dog, the Salty Pup Triathlon is also chip-timed to provide precise results for each participant.

Fee: $75 through July 30 (in-person and online);
$90 July 31 & August 1 (in-person only)
Ages: 13 & older
Salty Dog Team -
Fee: $135 through July 30; $150 July 31 and August 1 (in-person only)
Salty Pup -
Fee: $45 through July 30 (in-person and online); $60 July 31 and August 1 (in-person only)
