Join us for another fun night of social dancing with DJ Rafa, playing the grooviest Mambo, Salsa, and Bachata tracks! Emphasis on the MAMBO 💃Tonight we celebrate the Palladium era of Latin dance! Known as “the home of the Mambo,” the Palladium Ballroom was America’s most important venue for the development of Latin music and dance throughout the 1950s.
Mambo music and dance were co-created at the Palladium where Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Italian, Jewish, Irish, and African American patrons danced nightly to music from the “Big Three” Latin orchestras: Tito Puente, Tito Rodríguez, and Machito.
You can expect lots of Mambo and all-around good vibes!

Salsa Magic's Friday Fiestas are held on the second Friday of every month and are a staple in the Wellington Latin dance community. All levels of experience and styles are welcome! 🙌
