Happy Monday everyone! Each and every Monday we welcome brand new students and absolute beginners to Meet & Dance in Downtown Houston at the historic Henke and Pillot. Let’s learn the basics of Salsa, Bachata, and more!
🎉 Join us for super fun Beginner Salsa, Merengue, Bachata dance lessons.
👫 No partner needed! Singles and couples welcome! 18+ and up welcome.
⭐️ Ideal for Absolute Beginners. Zero experience required!
📅 When: Mondays Nights at 7pm
📍 Where: Henke and Pillot, 809 Congress St. Houston, TX
WHAT TO EXPECT
Make new friends, network with people from all walks of life, learn to dance.
Get hands-on experience with basic steps, right and left turns, leading and following techniques, basic figures, and simple social patterns.
🎵 Recognize the Music: Learn how to groove with the rhythm.
🕺💃 Dance Etiquette: Discover the dos and don'ts on the dance floor.
😄 Have Fun: Most importantly, learn how to have a blast while dancing!
MEET & DANCE MONDAY SCHEDULE
✓ 7:00p. Check-in and get a wristband.
✓ 7:15-8:30p. Salsa Beginner 1. Learn the basics of Salsa, basic spot turns, cross body lead, leading and following foundations. We do a little of Bachata and Merengue as well to warm up.
✓ 8:30-9:30p Salsa Beginner 2*. Continue learning Salsa beginner salsa turns and start creating figures and combinations. Dance experience required.
✓ 9:30-10:30p Social Practice for the students and everyone. Free.
*Note: Beginner 2 is for students that are confident on their basic steps, turns, and cross body lead. If you never danced, start at 7pm. Do not skip levels. Ask instructor for recommendations.
CLASS LEVEL
✓ Beginner 1: Intro level, Level 0, Baby steps to latin dancing. No experience required.
✓ Beginner 2: Basic understanding of the foundations of Salsa. Some experience required.
✓ Singles rotate with everyone.
✓ Couples can stay together or join the rotation.
HOW TO JOIN / TICKET PRICE
SALSA BEGINNER 1
Singles: $20/person drop-in per class.
Couples: $35/couple drop-in per class.
SALSA BEGINNER 2
Singles: $20/person drop-in
Couples: $35/couple drop-in
Beginner 2* students can access beginner 1 class for free if they like to review their basics.
*You must show that you are proficient on the basic steps and variations, how to lead and follow the right turn and cross body lead.

ATTIRE
✓ Casual / gym / dressy attire welcome.
✓ If you need dance shoes, we have discount codes for Fuego Dance Shoes
✓ Low heels / flats for ladies.
✓ Leather sole shoes for men.
✓ Avoid sandals and rubber sole shoes.
