A playful nervous system reset to reconnect with your body — no dance experience needed
About this Event
Dance has always been one of the ways I’ve connected with myself most naturally. I grew up dancing, and for a long time it was my way of expressing emotions, building confidence and learning how to feel more at home in my body.
Over time, transitioning into yoga felt very natural to me, because yoga still carried that same sense of flow and movement, just in a softer, slower and more intentional way. Through yoga, I also discovered the nervous system side of movement: breathwork, grounding, rest and learning how movement can help us feel safe, present and connected within ourselves again.
This workshop is designed to bring both worlds together.
We’ll begin with an energising salsa solo session to reconnect with our bodies, confidence and playfulness in a fun and accessible way (no dance experience needed). From there, we’ll slowly transition onto the mat for a softer nervous system reset including grounding movement, breathwork and deep rest.
