The Night Cat is a Fitzroy Icon and one of the best live band venues in Melbourne, it is also Melbourne's longest-running Latin night.

Our dance instructors are awesome, you will learn how to be a great social dancer.

DANCE CLASSES:
Choose from 5 dance classes
BACHATA:
7PM – BACHATA – Beginner Level
(Suggested duration 3–6 months)
No experience required.
7PM – BACHATA – Intermediate Level
(Suggested duration 12 months)
Requirement:
For those who have danced for at least 3-6 months in Beginner level, dance in time and can pick up complicated new moves with ease.

SALSA:
8PM – SALSA – Beginner Level
(Suggested duration 6-8 weeks)
No experience required.
8PM – SALSA – Beginner Level 2
(Suggested duration 3 months)
Requirement: Beginner level at the Night Cat or First Timer level at our other venues.
Must have an understanding of Basic footwork, timing & turn patterns.
8PM – SALSA – Intermediate Level
(Suggested duration 12 months)
Requirement:
For those who have danced for at least 3-6 months in Beginner level, dance in time and can pick up complicated new moves with ease.

Featuring a LIVE LATIN band and DJ’s from 9.00pm

Whether you choose one class or 2 classes it's a $35 flat rate including live band social from 9pm.
MS Dance cards cannot be used at The Night Cat.
$30 Social entry (no classes) from 8.30pm only
