Salon de Refuge/es
On Friday 9 January from 7pm to late – Come to 98 St Marys Road, London, SE15 2DU
For a Salon Gathering to celebrate and support the contribution of migrants to Southwark, London, UK and Europe with an evening of readings, poetry, music and song.
To raise funds for SDCAS and to support the refugee/community work of InspiralLondon CIC in 2026.
Suggested Donation - £10/person (all welcome)
Warm up for Salon 2026 with readings from 7.30pm
There will be a unique auction interlude in the evening to sell donated artworks and works from Anne-Catherine Le Deunff’s print collection (7.45 - 8.30pm).
With a rich outpouring of entertainment after the auction – including poetry, song, food and refreshments – hibiscus cordial, rum bissop, and foraged fruits (from 8.30-10.30pm)

Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers and Refugees is a frontline charity that support refugees and asylum seekers in South London by providing free advice, hospitality and a range of holistic services. This Happy Band was incubated and led by the legendary of Peckham of the Kitchen Gallery from around 2010. Made up of a motley medley of artist’s precious Flotsam and Jetsam. For this evening Lord Lehan has miraculously returned from the Kent Coast and the beaches of Dungeness to find us back in London.
