Some bands feel like they’re on the rise. Others just are. Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars are very much the latter.Fresh off a recent Tiny Desk Concert feature and building serious momentum, this group is starting to turn heads well beyond New Orleans. Their sound pulls from early jazz, country blues, and swing, delivered with a loose, lived-in feel that makes it land immediately in a room.
They’ll be making a stop at French Quarter Festival earlier in the day, but this is a different kind of show. Same band, completely different setting. Up close, dialed in, and built for actually taking it in instead of catching it in passing.
