Salisbury Community Fun Days are free, family friendly events, showcasing the parks, reserves and spaces in the City of Salisbury.In partnership with Nature Play SA, this exciting FREE event will be filled with a range of nature play activities for children and families of all ages, as well as adventure-based fun, including a scavenger hunt!
Some of the Nature Play SA activities on offer are:
- Geocaching
- Tinkering and potion making
- Loose parts play
- Water course play
- Clay play.
Some of the other activities that will be available are:
- Mobile junk and nature playground
- Survivor challenge
- Australian wildlife display
- Sand art
- Seed planting
- Kite flying demonstrations
- Scavenger hunt
- City of Salisbury 'Meet the Truck' and more!
When you arrive at the event, be sure to check in at the City of Salisbury information tent to collect your scavenger hunt kit!
Food and drink will be available for purchase including a sausage sizzle hosted by Salisbury Lions, Chi Chi's Modern Asian, Maxine's Baked Potatoes, Cuppagino's coffee and hotdogs and Tackle and Tucker cafe.
These activities are being held in line with Council’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic and are subject to any changes in directives provided by the State Government and SA Health.
