About this Event
Join the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) for an educational luncheon and networking opportunity designed to help local businesses lower energy costs and improve operational efficiency. This mid‑day event will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 12:00–1:30 p.m. at Brew River in downtown Salisbury, and will bring together area business leaders to learn about Delmarva Power’s energy efficiency programs and available financial incentives.
During the luncheon, attendees will receive an in‑depth overview of qualifying energy‑saving upgrades and the support available through Delmarva Power’s programs. Learn how participating businesses are paired with approved, local Service Providers—experienced trade professionals who guide owners through every step of the upgrade process, from assessment to installation. The presentation will also highlight current incentives that can cover up to 80% of project costs, helping businesses replace outdated systems and reduce long‑term energy expenses. In 2025 alone, participants received an average incentive of $12,000, with small businesses averaging $20,000.
Eligible upgrades may include:
- Lighting and lighting controls
- HVAC system replacements or improvements
- Smart thermostats and specialized controls
- Commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment
- Variable frequency drives
- Other high‑efficiency equipment
As a leading connector for businesses across the Delmarva Peninsula, SACC continues to deliver educational programming and resources that create measurable value for its members. This luncheon supports the Chamber’s mission to strengthen local businesses through practical insights, targeted services, and meaningful connections—while offering time to network with fellow professionals in the community.
