Fancy dress & costumes are strongly encouraged for this week's dance, where we have DJ Wayshower serving up the groove* * we will co-create a dia de los muertos altar as a physical reminder to celebrate our loved ones, and affirm they are never truly gone as long as they are remembered * *
How to participate in the altar:
bring a photo of a loved one whose past and an item to honor them (something they loved- a sample of their favorite dish or drink, sports memorabilia, art, sea shell, pet's collar, etc)
Schedule of events:
6:00 - 6:20 alter decoration
6:20 - 6:50 Guided warm up/ somatic movement
6:50 - 7:00 Opening circle
7:00 - 8:30 Dance journey with a live DJ
8:30 - 9:00 Sound bath & closing circle

The warmup is guided to help center your mind and body into the present moment while exploring playful movements.
We encourage you to come for the opening circle to meet the beautiful souls who will share the dance floor.
*Note, we keep the dance floor silent to focus on presence, but we welcome you to share your experience in the closing circle.
