Celebrate freedom, culture, and community at the Salem-Keizer NAACP's Juneteenth Celebration 2026!Join us on Friday, June 19, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at beautiful Riverfront Park for a day dedicated to honoring Black freedom, resilience, and excellence. This free, family-friendly event welcomes the entire community for an unforgettable celebration filled with connection, education, and joy.
Each year, our Juneteenth Celebration brings together families, community leaders, local organizations, artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses from across the region. With an anticipated attendance of more than 1,000 guests, this event creates a vibrant and welcoming space for all ages to gather, learn, and celebrate.

• Free community meal
• Family-friendly activities and crafts
• Cultural and educational experiences
• Scholarship award presentation
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as both a celebration of progress and a reminder of the continued work toward equity and justice.
Proceeds from this event help fund scholarships for local students of color, supporting the next generation of leaders in our community.
