As the ice and snow melts, spring vernal pools form creating the perfect nursery for young tadpoles and salamanders. Explore the beautiful Oaks Opening Preserve Metropark with a guided walk as we search for salamanders, frogs, and toads. This program runs rain, snow or shine and dress for the weather. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program and bring a reusable water bottle filled with water.
