The Girton College Chapel Choir is one of the most striking mixed choirs at the University of Cambridge. The internationally renowned collective not only matures its sound at daily mass services but also in concerts all around the world – from Europe to Asia. The choir’s recordings can be heard on BBC Radio and Classic FM, leaving listeners enchanted by the subtle balance of youthful frivolity and musical maturity.
In Vilnius, the Girton College Chapel Choir will be appearing with The Western Wyndes, a historic woodwind ensemble. They’ll be presenting a programme in which different epochs meet – Renaissance composer Marc'Antonio Ingegneri’s motets and Dmitry Bortniansky’s sacred music works. This is music where serenity, light and inner balance are all in harmony.
