The purpose of this event is to highlight the importance of African American families' involvement in their children's schooling and to celebrate black culture. The MN NBPA's role will be to have positive experiences with families and provide informational sessions regarding gun safety, knowing your rights when interacting with Police, and how to connect with resources at Police Departments for their community.
