Mutual Aid MN Artist Wall & Live Screenprinting Fundraiserat Owl’s Eye for the Saint Paul Art Crawl 🦉
During the St. Paul Art Crawl in Lowertown (April 17–19), Owl’s Eye Art Collective will be hosting a Mutual Aid Artist Wall and Live Screenprinting Fundraiser featuring Minnesota artists.
Artwork donated by MN artists will be available for purchase, with profits going toward mutual aid efforts and the Wilson Foundation as we work toward the $1.5 million matching goal for Rental Assistance.
The Art Crawl is all about celebrating the amazing art community here in Saint Paul, so artists are welcome to donate any type of artwork — it doesn’t have to be protest or resistance-themed. That said, protest / resist artwork is absolutely welcome too, and I’d love to highlight some of the powerful political and community-centered work artists across Minnesota have been creating.
All weekend I’ll also be running a live screenprinting experience, where people can bring their own shirts and print a design for a donation. There will also be a new print created especially for the Art Crawl (design coming soon).
Minnesota artists have been incredible at showing up for the community lately, and I’d love to fill the shop with work that reflects that.
