FREE Racing Rules Clinic on March 8 at Forest City YC.Cleveland Sailing Association is having a Racing Rules Clinic at Forest City Yacht Club on Saturday March 8, from 9:00 am to 11;30 or noon. Nancy Zangerle and Mary Cay Tylee, both of whom are excellent US Sailing certified race officials, will review the Racing Rules with a focus on the changes that went into effect on January 1st. No charge. 👍👍👍 All sailors, crew and friends of CSA are welcome.
So, if you know the rules come and see what changes go into effect this year. If you don't know the rules come and get a top-notch class on them. The basic rules are simply the rules of the road, embellished for common situations when racing in close quarters. No one was born with that knowledge. We all learned them a little at a time. What better place to start than on land.
Coffee and donuts at 9;00. Presentation starts at 9:30. Questions and Answers around 11:30 as time permits. Maybe even some fun prizes.
