Fashion Art Toronto invites fashion fans to an epic daytime runway show by Sagradesa, set inside a massive industrial warehouse in downtown Toronto. Located just five minutes from T3 Bayside, the offsite presentation runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. — setting the tone before the evening runway shows continue back at the main Fashion Art Toronto hub.
The slow-fashion label Sagradesa, rooted in sustainability and storytelling, debuts its Fall/Winter 2025 collection Villain Origin Story — a tale of ancestry, defiance, and rebirth. The collection follows a seamstress whose craft carries ancestral memory through generations. When a serpent steals her voice, she turns sorrow into creation, stitching torn robes into garments of power. Through the strength of her ancestors, she reclaims her voice and vows never to be silenced again.
Sagradesa is a Canadian slow-fashion brand inspired by nature and committed to sustainability. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind handmade design, crafted from reclaimed textiles and created with intention. From custom eveningwear and bridal to avant-garde costume design, every garment by designer Maxime Chercover is ethically made in Canada and tells a story through texture, form, and spirit.
This season, The City of Toronto Animal Services (TAS) joins forces with Fashion Art Toronto to raise awareness about the importance of adopting dogs from shelters. Adoptable pups will walk the runway alongside models in Sagradesa’s show and will be available for meet & greets and adoptions following the presentation. This new partnership between TAS and FAT celebrates sustainability, compassion, and second chances — for both fashion and our four-legged friends. How to adopt here
