About this Event
A one-woman show with a McMaster researcher: The Perils of Being Born in the Fall
Born in September? Dr. Dawn Bowdish has got bad news for you.
Tour through the wackiness of early 19th century psychiatry, stealth mid-century reproductive rights activism and the climate/pregnancy connection; in the end you’ll learn why cold & flu season has an outsize impact on mental health.
You might laugh, but you’ll definitely learn.
Parking is available at the venue. Popcorn and a drink will be available (on us)!
About the Sage Conversations Series
The McMaster Institute for Research on Aging is hosting a series of community-targeted events that allow people to learn more about what’s happening at the University while leaving lots of space for questions and conversations.
MIRA has selected a mix of its most requested spots to visit on campus and some of McMaster’s leading aging researchers to participate and encourage more open engagement with those that we may not have the pleasure of meeting in the past.
