Throughout this time the band has released 21 studio recorded CD?s under the umbrella of major record companies and have filmed over 20 music videos. Saga has sold 10 million albums and performed in over twenty countries to over fifteen million people. 2025 sees HELIX turn 50 years+ old. The band was formed in 1974 in Kitchener, Ontario. in 1979, they released their own indie album, Breaking Loose, H&S Records. H&S stood for HELIX and Seip. From 1983 to 1989 HELIX would release four albums on Capitol: No Rest for the Wicked/Walking the Razor's Edge/Long Way to Heaven/& Wild in the Streets. These albums produced the hits Heavy Metal Love, Rock You,Gimme Gimme Good Lovin', Make Me Do Anything You Want, Deep Cuts the Knife, The Kids Are All Shakin', Wild in the Streets, and Dream On. In that time, they also sold 2 million albums, toured with over 200 of the world's greatest recording acts.
