Amplify new music nights are events dedicated to showcasing and supporting up-and-coming musicians. They provide a platform for artists to perform their original music and gain exposure to a wider audience. SAFETY JACKET
Formed in Brighton in 2019 but have found themselves based in London more often these days. The band comprises of long-term friends, George Smale (guitar + vocals) and Harvey Cash (bass + vocals), with friend Jono White joining on drums recently. They are a DIY, indie rock band, known for their raw and passionate delivery. They have released two albums so far, 'Honey From the Wasp Nest' (2022) and 'Snow Falling Over the Sea' (2025). They are currently recording their third album.
