About this Event
Join us for a free peer review opportunity for CAC Forensic Interviewers, CPS, and Law Enforcement to hone their forensic interview skills. This session is for those who have completed a nationally recognized forensic interview protocol training and are expected to regularly attend peer review sessions to maintain and enhance their proficiency.
The purpose of peer review is to provide forensic interviewers and trained MDT partners with an opportunity to review forensic interviews in a supportive confidential environment. This reinforces the methodologies utilized during forensic interviews as well as discuss specific interview techniques, provides feedback regarding the quality of documentation, and reviews relevant research. In addition, peer review offers an atmosphere to problem-solve, share challenges, and build supportive relationships among those trained.
SafeSpot CAC will host NOVA Forensic Interview Peer Review quarterly. During this peer review, one forensic interview will be presented and feedback will be provided by the group. It is also a time to discuss difficult interview scenarios and review new research.
If you have any questions regarding this peer review opportunity, please contact Angela Haslett at [email protected].
