Safeguarding in Faith Communities Consultation Event – Warwickshire

Join faith leaders and safeguarding representatives from across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull for a regional consultation event on strengthening safeguarding in faith settings.

This consultation offers an opportunity to review new safeguarding guidance and a self-assessment toolkit co-developed with regional partnerships and faith representatives. Together, we’ll explore how these tools can help places of worship build safer, more inclusive practices for children and adults with care and support needs.

Who should attend:
Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) or senior representatives from places of worship across the six major faiths — Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism.

The event will be hosted by Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board.
