Who should attend?
This Board Training (in-person, Dublin) provides a comprehensive overview of the role of not-for-profit board members and is tailored towards artists and arts workers who are prospective, new, and existing board members looking to strengthen their role on the Board.
The course covers:
- the roles and responsibilities of charity trustees/board directors under Company Law and Charity Law
- board meetings
- board papers
- reviewing the board
- board relationships
- conflicts of interest
- governance and management
- and the Charities Governance Code.
Trainer: Gráinne Madden
Gráinne is an expert in corporate responsibility and business ethics and an experienced trainer and facilitator. She runs a specialist consultancy helping businesses avoid problems, enhance reputation and harness their power to improve society. She is also an experienced Trustee, Chair and Company Secretary.
Cost: €30 (FULLY REFUNDED within one week of attending training day).
