About the Event
Join us for an engaging and impactful seminar led by Olympian and Safe Sport advocate Allison Forsyth, founder of Generation Safe. Allison has been a trailblazer in Safe Sport education and awareness, resonating with over 50 sport organizations and more than 5,000 people across Canada. Her real-talk approach, combined with her lived experience as a survivor of sexual abuse within the sport system, provides a unique and crucial perspective on creating safer environments in sport.
Recently named one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence in 2023, Allison will share her guiding principles on transforming Safe Sport policies into actionable practices. With extensive experience, including co-founding ITP Sport, the only full-service Safe Sport consulting agency in Canada, and serving as the Safe Sport Officer for Canada Soccer, Allison brings both professional and personal insights to the conversation. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of trauma-informed approaches and learn practical strategies for systemic implementation of Safe Sport from national to grassroots levels.
Whether you are a coach, administrator, athlete, or parent, this seminar will equip you with the tools and knowledge to contribute to a safer, more inclusive sport community for all.
