About this Event
Designed to empower every member of a production by providing practical knowledge in order to feel safe and confident on film sets, this course includes practical demonstration (taught by leading industry professionals), lecture, and discussion.
Participants will leave with a foundational understanding of common firearms and their components, general safety guidelines, film-specific protocols, and how to implement them in their own productions.
-see, hold, and potentially handle a variety of firearms (both real and simulated)
-learn how to load and unload dummy rounds
-learn the differences and see examples of different ammo (live ammo simulated)
Who Should Attend: This workshop is tailored for film professionals and students looking to formalize their safety knowledge.
