About the Training
This empowering training webinar helps LGBTQ and migrant care workers in Greater Manchester understand their rights, recognise exploitation, and access safe support. It explains how Certificate of Sponsorship visas work, how abuse and unfair treatment can happen, and what to do if pay, hours, housing, or immigration status are used to control you. Participants learn how to spot warning signs, protect their dignity at work, and connect with trusted GMCA and BASNET support pathways. Rooted in community care and long standing values of fairness and justice, this session reminds every worker that seeking help is a strength and that no one should face exploitation alone.
