About this Event
This free workshop - taught by women for women - is for women riders of all levels to learn and practice safe cycling skills together, with in-class and on-bike components.
Riders of all levels are welcome, from experienced commuters looking to learn the rules of the road to women seeking safe tips for navigating their communities to the casual rider just getting started on her journey.
This bi-lingual workshop includes in-class instruction, on bike skills lessons and a short group ride that will include some hills.
Participants will receive a free helmet, bike lock and lights!
What to Bring: Please bring a bike in good working order, sunscreen, water and snacks. Wear comfortable clothing, including closed toed shoes.
NOTE: This is not a learn to ride class. Participants will be expected to ride their bikes continuously for up to 30 minutes.

Please meet at the corner of Venice Blvd. and Helms Avenue, under the Helms marquee. The actual workshop will take place in a garden patio at the East end of the parking lot, near Hutchinson.
