Vessel Safety Check Prep Class
Join us for a comprehensive walkthrough of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check (VSC) process. Taught by certified U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Instructors, this class will help you understand the required safety equipment and how to ensure your boat meets federal and state boating laws. We’ll guide you through the checklist, so you can confidently prepare your boat for inspection, increasing your chances of passing on the first try. Upon passing the VSC, you’ll receive a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Decal, signaling that your boat is compliant and safe for the season. This free class is an essential step in ensuring your safety on the water and may even qualify you for boating insurance discounts!
