About this Event
We will be serving traditional wholesome family style Sadza (mash made of maize and sorghum), murivo (fine chopped collard greens), nderere (okra ) and nyama (traditional lamb stew).
Sadza Space resident, Chef Mhle, will talk about the food and the ingredients, one of our artists residents, ceramist Nyasha Chigama will talk about their research in Detroit. Our archive will be open to be viewed as well.
Sadza House is the residence home for the Zimbabwe Cultural Center Detroit and needs a new roof. Come to our home, eat, mingle and support.
