About this Event

Join us for an evening discussing all things saddle comfort and health!

Date: Thursday, November 27th 2025

Time: 6:00 - 8:00pm (90 minute workshop + Q&A session)

Location: Bici | Bike Shop

Who: Noa Deutsch and Beth Wolfe

Saddle discomfort one of the most commonly reported issues related to riding a bike, but it doesn't have to be this way. This workshop is for you if you are:

  • Experiencing numbness, discomfort, saddle sores, etc while you ride
  • You do not have any issues, and you want to prevent them from happening
  • You want to learn more about pelvic health for cyclists, saddles and bike fit

Join sport scientist / bike fitter Noa Deutsch and Registered Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Health, Beth Wolfe for an honest and practical conversation about one of cycling's most common (but not discussed enough) issues.

What we will talk about:
  • Pelvic floor myths and facts
  • Cycling-specific pelvic health insights
  • Bike fit cosiderations
  • Saddle sores, chafing and pressure
  • Saddles 101 and the process of choosing a saddle
  • Things that aren't the saddle, that can cause saddle issues
  • Prevention strategies that work

No topic is off limits. We'll cover everything from numbness and pain to the sensitive subjects many cyclists are too embarrassed to talk about.

Perfect for everyone who rides a bike, men and women - Limited spaces available

We debated if we should make this workshop a women specific one or not, and while there will be a lot of women specific information, we decided to open it to everyone because the more awareness, the better!

While the goal is to have a judgement free zone, we understand some my not feel comfortable asking questions during the workshop. For women who feel this way for any reason, we will open an online space where you will be able to submit questions for Beth and Noa after the talk.

To help us prepare better, it will be great if you could fill in this form with your questions before the event.
