Alright y’all, lock in that summertime sadness because it’s time to welcome Sad Song Singalong to Crowns @ Creature Summer Saturdays!
Join us and the Sad Song crew on Saturday, August 23rd for their third (eye blind) time at the taproom, but their TWENTY-SEVENTH show over all! These singers of sorrow are ready to rock your socks off and hand you a box of Kleenex after to wipe away all the tears.
Who hasn’t wanted to belt out “Smells Like Teen Spirit” with a crowd of strangers? Lock hands (and eyes) as we sing Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black”? Weep cathartically as we ALL dance to whatever surprise Chappell Roan song they have planned for us??
As always, this is a FREE show!! And remember — this is NOT karaoke. This is a live band leading the charge while the crowd sings as one. No spotlight. No stage fright. Just vibes. If you’ve been to the first two parties, you know not to miss this one. And if you haven’t, well, this is your wake up call.
In addition to the drinkin’, singin’, and cryin’, we’ll have our second ever Night Market from Just Buy The Thing in our beautiful courtyard for you to peruse while you wait for the sadness to start, and hot and delicious pizza pies from Sourdoe Pizza fresh out the oven all night to keep you fueled up and ready to sing your summer blues away.
Don’t forget about the free parking in our secure, gated lot on 11th street b/t San Julian and San Pedro.
