About Sweatlodge
Phil brings years of experience in attending and pouring sweatlodges, having been initiated into this sacred practice by an elder of the old ways. Today, he continues to pour sweatlodges and shares his knowledge by teaching others how to build and pour their own.
The sweatlodge is a sacred, safe space—a place to go within so that we don’t go without. The heat humbles us, dissolves the ego, and initiates profound healing. In the darkness of the lodge, representing the womb of our Mother Earth, we connect deeply with the seen and unseen worlds, inviting visions and spiritual connection.

It is a tradition among many tribes to bring gifts for the fire keepers and sweatlodge pourers. By honoring this practice, we pay respect to our ancestors who brought us the sweatlodge, while also honoring ourselves and each other. This act of gratitude strengthens the sacred connection between all who come together for the ceremony.
Food:
A homemade vegan soup will be served after sweatlodge. We ask all to bring food to share as a community. Fruit, cheese, bread, dips, crisps, biscutes etc are generally peoples favourite to bring for the day.
What to Expect:
