Sweat Lodges are profound, deep, and healing experience. Our lodge stands on the marshland overlooking the open fields. It is a place of peace and tranquillity, steeped in the mystery of the land.
Join us as we celebrate Lughnasadh — the ancient festival of first harvest. Come and honour the ripening of the land, give thanks for abundance, and mark the gentle turning from the height of summer toward the golden days of harvest.
If the Sweat Lodge is full when you request a space, you can ask to be put on to a waiting list for that date if you are fully committed to keeping that date free should a space become available.
Lodge is a suggested £30 CASH donation on the day, to cover overheads and wood.

What is a Sweat Lodge
The Sweat Lodge represents the gestating void, the womb, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect, honour, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweat Lodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released.
We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.
We will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. Having facilitated many lodges over the years, we will lead you through this most healing and beautiful ceremony with love and integrity .
Sacred Womb of Rebirth
Into lodge we humble seek
Our mothers love we feel so deep
Her bones they hold us
Her darkness heals
We hear her song the void she fills
Wisdom rocks bring fourth release
As tears and fears are soon released
Birthed and balanced healed and whole
From the earth her children flow.
