About this Event
Begin your week with the vibrational meditative sounds of the Sacred Sound Journey with Alison. Experience mystical sounds featuring multiple gongs, and a variety of other instruments. Alison creates a uniquely focused, physically and energetically safe container for a live, collective, vibrational, and intentional sound experience for each Sound Journey. Allow yourself to relax and absorb the healing energy of sound to soothe, restore, and balance your mind, body and spirit.
LOCATION & PARKING
The Sacred Sound Journey will be at the Dawa Dolma Meditation Center behind Juliet's Jewels 315 W Sycamore Street, Denton, Texas. Parking is available on the street and behind Juliet's Jewels.
TIME
- 2:30pm - Doors open for Check-in and to settle into your space.
- 2:45pm - Opening & Introductions
- 3:00pm - Sound Begins
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring your own yoga or exercise mat, blanket, pillow, and other items you may require for your comfort. You are welcome to bring a folding chair if needed.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive you will check-in, remove your shoes and locate your space in the room. Everyone is encouraged to get settled into their space being mindful of others. Turn-off or silence your cellphone/watches. Then you may relax, meditate or engage in quiet conversation.
Alison will lead the Opening & Introductions. She will set the tone and prepare everyone for the collective journey. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during this section.
The Sound will begin promptly at 3:00pm.
DEVICE FREE EVENT
All devices must be turned off, silenced, and put away during this event.
RECORDING & PHOTOGRAPHY
Energetically this is a live non-mediated experience. Therefore, recording (audio or video) and photography will not be permitted during the entirety of this event from check-in until the conclusion of the journey.
