Exciting Update: After many years, Sacred Sensuality Dance Classes for Women have returned!
A very private class, with curtains closed, where women will learn to get in touch with the sacred feminine Goddess within, and express their sensuality through dance.
It is a class for women 25+ only. There will not be a performance. It is for personal use, whatever that means to you. Dance for yourself, your rituals, your spiritual practices, or even your partner (later, at home, not in class).
This class is intimate in nature, and includes risque moves, of a classy and tasteful style. It also includes floorwork, so bring thin volleyball knee pads or use a yoga mat (bring or borrow one from the studio), and prepare to work hard, strengthen muscles and get a full-body work-out!
This class is not for those with knee problems.
There will be segments devoted to Goddesses, the Elements, and other Pagan/spiritual elements such as meditative, Intentional and divine thought and movement, chanting and yoga.
Students should only register if they are comfortable with the adult and spiritual content of this class.
Important Distinction: This is not a bellydance class. All of our separate bellydance classes are family-friendly, for all ages. This is a separate style of dance for adult women only. Please choose to be educated, rather than confused or judgmental, when learning about various styles of dance and cultures.
