Sacred Play - Beachside Silent Disco @ La Jolla Shores
Spring is upon us!
The origins of Easter come from the pagan holiday Ostara, which celebrates the Spring Equinox. This marks the most ideal time to plant both physical and energetic seeds for the future.
Just like we clear the garden of weeds before sowing those seeds, and spring clean our homes from still winter air, we must also clear our bodies!
Shake off what may be weighing you down with your toes in the sand, fresh ocean air in your lungs, and a curated musical journey to melt into.A Silent Disco is a dance space where all guests are provided their own set of bluetooth headphones. This way we can all experience the same journey without affecting other visitors of this public sanctuary in nature.
Our host, Kreatos, will be semi-guiding the group through a 90 minute set of somatic warmup, yoga flow, dance, and play.

this is a sacred practice….this is Sacred Play!
Sacred Play is a space where we as a community gather together to enjoy connection, movement and dance.
It is a substance-free, harassment-free safe space where we 'leave our egos at the door'....where all people are welcome.
It is Ecstatic Dance, Flow Jam and Community Gathering.We open with sacred circle to ground in our intention to celebrate life together as community... as one tribe.
We begin with a therapeutic modality, then begin the music with a short yoga flow to warm the body and center ourselves.
Next we gently alternate through guided dance and free flow, where we have flow toys (silk fans/ribbons) provided to connect deeper into our child-like wonder of fun.
This is a 1.5 hr DJ set to go wild and have fun.
We end the musical celebration with a closing circle.
Afterwards we encourage all to remain for fellowship and to enjoy the beautiful nature into the sunset, when we will have a brief sunset ceremony.
