You build strength, flexibility, balance and breath work that calms the nervous system and support endurance during labor. The belly dance component introduces circular hip movements, pelvic isolations, and flowing transitions that naturally encourage optimal baby positioning and freedom in the pelvis. Dancing in pregnancy is more than just movement, it's a powerful birth tool! Gravity helps baby to descend, rhythmic motion stimulates oxytocin, and playful expression reduces tension and fear. The movements can be used directly during labor to ease discomfort, encourage dilation and create a sense of confidence and flow. This is a celebration of strength, softness, rhythm, and trust- preparing your body not just for birth but to move through labor with power, grace and joy!
