Day Four ~ Sunday 10th March
The Spiral ~ Myth and The Natural Word

The Triskelion, Mushroom Vortex and Polygon Spirals
Morning Class 10am ~ 1pm

The Triskelion

It is believed the Celtic Triskele has been circling since Neolithic times, which is roughly 3,200 years BC ~ The meaning is so heavily debated. Whilst drawing, together we will discuss this Ancient Spiral which is believed to represent the three worlds.
The present, The Spirit and The Celestial.

Afternoon Class 2pm ~ 4:30pm

The Mushroom Vortex

Mushrooms are made up of fluid ~ like Aether.
They grow in the Aether and are made of Aether.
The principles of opposites resisting & resolving into spirals
is most easily understood as the mushroom vortex, or vortex rings.
You can see them in many leaf forms, Bivalve Shells,
Capitals In Architecture, Sand Dunes and Cloud Burts.

Polygon Spirals

An introduction to polygon spirals which will commence the following day. We will draw and understand the polygon spiral
using the diminishing octagon method.
