The Experience
This is a space where dance becomes an initiation to step deeper into who you truly are. This experience is a sacred portal where you can remember, embody, and embrace more of your magical essence, then take it from the dance floor into daily life.
6-7:15pm | Explore the Shop Market & Holistic Snack Bar
This is your time to arrive, settle in, connect with community and get a holistic snack or beverage before we embark on an epic journey together. There will be Sacred City Shops setup in a market setting for you to explore.
6:15-7pm | Contact Improv Class with Cameo Rose (optional)
The deeply embodied Cameo Rose shares the gift of connection and co creation through improvisational movement. To participate in this class, please be in the space and ready by 6:15pm sharp.
7:15pm-7:45pm | Opening Ceremony
Our Dance Portal Steward invites you to step into remembrance. Together, we soften, awaken, and drop into the heart, setting the foundation for the embodied journey we’re about to go on.
7:45pm-9:15pm | Dance Journey with UNION
Our special guest DJ, UNION, invites you to move beyond thought and into full embodiment. This is your practice ground to feel, express, and embody more of your true essence in a space of freedom, depth, and play.
9:15pm-9:30pm | Closing Circle
We will integrate and end the journey for the night together
9:30pm-10pm | Connect with Community
After Dance Portal, we lean into a closing circle. Then there is space to hangout, grab a holistic snack or beverage and connect with community.

With that being said, Sacred City does not believe this is how all experiences must be in the world, we just enjoy this particular type of container. FAQ
What are the time deets for this experience?
To experience Sacred City Dance Portal, you must arrive by 7:15pm at the latest. No exceptions. Doors open at 6PM to spaciously settle in. The journey begins at 7:15PM sharp and ends at 9:30PM. The connection time will go from 9:30pm to 10pm.
What is the location?

What do I do for parking?
There is plenty of parking in the lot next door, as well as street parking
What do I need to bring?
For the opening ceremony, we recommend you bring something to sit on. If you do not sit on the floor, we recommend bringing a chair. We also recommend you bring water.
What will we be doing?
We will begin with remembrance in an opening ceremony, then move into embodiment with a dance journey, then end with time to connect with community.
Can I bring my kiddos?
This experience is open to those who can fully participate and be fully present in it. We do not have a kids club right now for this experience, but are excited to bring it back soon. With that being said, if your child can fully be with the experience, they are welcome to join.
What is my commitment to the container?
We ask that you plan on being deeply present, participating fully, and honoring the 5 pillars: sacred, silly, sober, safe, and sovereign.
What does sober mean in this container?
At Sacred City experiences, sober means drug, alcohol and psychedelic free. While there are many different medicines that serve people in different ways, we ask that the sober container is honored at our events.
Will there be food and beverages?
There will be a vegetarian daal and cacao elixirs provided for this dance.
What if I feel uncomfortable about dancing in front of other people?
Sacred City experiences invite you to go beyond the comfort zone and be courageously authentic. Knowing this can be uncomfortable sometimes, this is a space where you will be fully accepted and celebrated for your expression. Enjoy the ride!
What if I don’t know anyone?
We believe strangers are simply future family. So, greet people you don't know yet and ask what inspired them to come this week. They may deeply appreciate it. And you may create meaningful relationships in the process!
What are the video and photo boundaries?
We will be recording audio and video during this experience so the Sacred City organization can share this medicine with you and the rest of the world beyond our time together.
Is this a spiritual experience?
It definitely can be. With that being said, this medicine movement practice is not tied to any specific religion. We’re always looking to include medicine music from across the globe.
