We will gather together in community & share sacred space through the power of intention & togetherness. The ceremonial aspects of the evening will involve prayer, meditation, introspection & voice/sound/song. In working with cacao as medicine as well as a tool for spiritual awakening we will share story and dialogue about the many dimensions of how cacao has been used in indigenous cultures around the world, & together we will drink a ceremonially crafted tonic elixir of cacao. The elixir will be prepared with traditional indigenous herbs & made with a base of stone-ground un-roasted cacao beans combined with pure cacao of various sources across the world. The drink serves as a medium to connect our prayers to the inner & outer worlds, as well as move through our bodies as a strong metabolic/ neuro chemical medicine, helping bring a force of nutrition into the body as well as a mode of strong psycho-emotional-energetic-spiritual change. This whole cacao section is educational, experiential & journey to remember.
The event will conclude with a multidimensional live musical soundscape complete with many sacred instruments - handpan, sitar, medicine flutes, crystal singing bowls, & so much more ... All structured together in an intuitive soundscape to guide participants even deeper into their meditations, rest, prayers & manifestation.
Bio:
In addition to his immense amount of study and practice within the classical & contemporary systems of yoga, Kris/Bholānāth also as an immense passion for the sacredness of cacao.
He's been studying the therapeutic & longevity based means of cacao for nearly 15 years, has been facilitating ceremonial gatherings with cacao for over a decade, and still continues to deepen his practice and study of cacao by traveling the world to learn the importance of cacao in modern & past indigenous culture.
Furthermore, after what seems like a lifetime of study, he now crafts his own bean-to-bar ceremonial/medicinal cacao using beans that he himself directly receives from cacao farms in Central America or imports directly from indigenous cacao brokers.
