Join Sarah Stembridge and Jeremy Otth for a day of Balboa and Collegiate Shag! These two world-class dancers will bring their expertise to Sacramento and share a combination of technique, fun moves, and practice help. This workshop is meant for intermediate and advanced dancers of Balboa and/or Shag.Date and time

11:00 am-1:00 pm: Balboa
Hour 1: The Pure Bal Shuffle Shoppe
A mini technique clinic - we’ll start from the ground up with thinking about how we use shuffle technique to create textures, shapes, and rhythms both independently and partnered.
Hour 2: Footloose & Fancy Free
Lock turns! Circle slides! As much fun stuff as we can fit in an hour!!
1:00 pm-2:00 pm: Lunch break
2:00 pm-4:00 pm: Shag
Hour 1: Swinging your Shag
Another mini technique clinic - we’ll start from the ground up again, this time
thinking about maintaining smooth and efficient movement without sacrificing
pulse, energy, and flow.
Hour 2: We’re Going Ham
Bring water and extra shirts (and your A-game!!!) - we’re ending the day FULL
OUT!
4:00 pm-5:00 pm: Practice & Social Dance Hour
