DESCRIPTION:
Sectional by Rating. 4-round Swiss tournament in 12-16 player groups based on rating. Ratings based on September Supplement.
US Chess membership is required for all sections. Annual membership is available on uschess.org.

REGISTRATION:

Online registration closes Friday, 9/16 at 7 pm.
Onsite registration: Saturday 8 am – 8:30 am.
Registrations after 8:30am may receive a ½ point bye for round 1 and be paired for round 2.
ENTRY FEES:
$30 if received by Tues. 9/6. $35 if after 9/6; or $40 at the site.
SCHEDULE:
9am, 11am, 1pm, 2:45pm.
Please arrive by 8:45 am for pairings and announcements.
Byes: ½ point byes are available for all rounds if requested prior to start of round two.
PRIZES:
Prizes awarded to each section:
1st: $120
2nd: $80
3rd: $50
Participation medal for all.
EQUIPMENT:
Bring chess sets and clocks; none provided.
