About this Event
Join us for a comprehensive, full-day training focused on how systems interactions influence survivor safety and offender accountability. Featuring statewide homicide data and prevention insights from Violence Free Minnesota, perspectives from the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and in-depth forensic analysis from Dr. Darrel B. Turner, this event equips professionals with practical tools to strengthen coordinated response efforts. Dr. Turner will examine sexual deviance, grooming dynamics, psychopathy, and patterns of denial through real interview footage and APOD analysis to enhance investigative effectiveness and disrupt recidivism. Designed for advocates, law enforcement, attorneys, and allied professionals, this training promotes deeper understanding across disciplines to improve outcomes for victims and communities. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST credits) are pending.
