The next South African Airforce Museum monthly flying training day for 2025 will be held on Saturday the 4th of October at AFB Swartkop (Mobile deployment wing) from 8:00 to 13:00.This month's event will feature more aircraft on display due to the monthly EAA chapter 322 meeting taking place on the Saturday morning!
Also present on the day with a large number of members will be Gryskrag | GreyPower on an official visit to the SAAF Museum!
Normal attractions still include some aircraft open-cockpits, Harvard Club static display, models & memorabilia on sale and of course a showcase from the various aircraft of the SAAF Museum Historic Flight! The Canberra 457 Restoration Project and Shackleton Restoration Project teams will also be on hand should you wish to find out how to get involved!
Entrance to the SAAF Museum is free, but please consider making a donation towards the upkeep and maintenance of all the aircraft preserved in their care, they really need all the help they can get!
The Friends of the SAAF Museum will have fresh boerie rolls as well as warm and cold drinks available.
