A celebration of literature, language, and the human condition, don’t miss this unique event!About the StorytellerRavie Solanky is a multi-disciplinary artist based in New Delhi with over 16 years of experience in graphic design, filmmaking, photography, stage performance, and content creation. He is the founder of The Social House, India’s most loved poetry and storytelling platform with over 2.6 million subscribers.Starting as a graphic designer and photographer, Ravie worked closely with top Delhi radio stations, capturing celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sunny Leone, and more. He has done model portfolios (including Anjali Raghav) and full-featured shoots for artists like Sufi singer Hamsar Hayat.His passion for visuals led him into filmmaking, curating and serving on the jury for Whatashort Independent International Film Festival and International Open Film Festival, Bangladesh, while also conducting workshops on photography and filmmaking.A well-known name in Delhi’s literary scene, Ravie hosts “Poetry Storytelling aur Chai”, a weekly open mic with 600+ editions, and performs his own solo show, “The Kahaaniwala Show”. He also runs an audio storytelling podcast, “Kahaaniwala”, where he brings others’ stories to life through his narration.A passionate Urdu educator, Ravie founded “The Project Urdu” to preserve Hindustani zabaan, teaching poetic forms, pronunciation, and classical structures. He regularly conducts workshops on stage presence, spoken word, and technical writing.Ravie has created marketing films for global NGOs like Viva con Agua and Welthungerhilfe, focusing on social change through storytelling. His love for cinema birthed “Lights Camera Nostalgia”, a tribute to Bollywood legends through heartfelt, research-rich episodes.He has judged poetry events across 25+ top institutions, including IITs and IIMs, and mentored 2500+ emerging artists. Through his video podcast, “On Camera with Ravie”, he’s had engaging conversations with Jatin Sarna, Nikhil Vijay, Nitibha Kaul, and more.Featured by Radio Mirchi, Doordarshan, and Social Samosa, Ravie lets his work speak for itself—deeply rooted in his love for language, people, and honest art.
