CLASS INFORMATION
Learn the basics of mud resist dyeing. Learn about the origins of “dabu”, a traditional Indian technique involving clay application on fabrics to create intricate patterns & designs. Students will come away with an understanding of a natural textile surface design technique that can easily be done at home. Mud resist supplies and indigo will be provided. Students can bring their own fabric. 100% Cellulose-based fabrics or clothes only (cotton, silk or muslin, etc.)
