Við bjóðum gestum að koma, hlýða á erindi og taka þátt í umræðum um hlutverk og stöðu bókmennta fyrir börn og ungmenni í dag.
Í ár beinum við sjónum okkar að hryllingsbókmenntum fyrir börn og unglinga. Frá örófi alda höfum við skemmt okkur og börnunum með hryllingssögum. Í seinni tíð, með innkomu hrekkjavöku í íslenskt menningarlíf, hefur áhuginn fyrir ýmiskonar hryllingi náð nýjum hæðum hjá börnum og unglingum og að hausti skellur á okkur hryllingsflóðið í útgáfu barna- og unglingabókmennta.
Ráðstefnan er samstarfsverkefni Félags fagfólks á skólasöfnum, IBBY, SFS, Síung, Upplýsingar og Borgarbókasafnsins. Ókeypis er á stefnuna en við biðjum gesti að skrá þátttöku sína hér: https://forms.office.com/e/7G2eprSrPz

Conference on Children's and Young Adult Literature | The Flood of Horror!
We invite guests to come, listen to talks, and participate in discussions about the role and status of literature for children and young people today.
This year, we are focusing on horror literature for children and young adults. For centuries we have entertained ourselves and our children with horror stories. In recent times, with the arrival of Halloween in Iceland, interest in all kinds of horror has reached new heights among children and young adults, and in the autumn, we are hit by a flood of horror in the publication of children's and young adult literature.
The conference is a collaborative project between the Association of School Library Professionals, IBBY, SFS, Síung, Upplýsing, and the Reykjavík City Library. Admission to the conference is free, but we ask guests to register their attendance here: https://forms.office.com/e/7G2eprSrPz
