Under the direction of Lori Turner, the Renaissance Theatre will host auditions for the Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre (RYOT) production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Ballroom of the Renaissance Theatre, located at 138 Park Avenue West in downtown Mansfield. Appointments are not required for auditions.Auditions are open to young performers from 2nd grade through 12th grade. Anyone auditioning should prepare to sing 32 bars of a “Golden Age” Broadway song in their key with accompaniment (sheet music is preferred). Rehearsals will begin in June, and will take place during weekdays, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm; and on Saturdays between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
