Learn how to safely handle a powerboat and get your RYA Level 2 Power Boat Qualification. Weekend training, limited places. £300 per person.The Powerboat handing course is a two day introductory course designed to provide you with the basics of boat handling and seamanship of powerboats. It will allow you to safely helm and enjoy using power boats such as inflatable and rigid ribs, fishing, cruisers and day boats with outboard and inboard engines.
When you successfully complete the course you will receive an RYA Powerboat Certificate Level 2. At Erith your certificate issued will be endorsed to show you completed the course with experience in
both planing ribs and displacement vessels and in a coastal location.
The RYA Licence can be used to apply for an International Certificate of Competence for boats up 10 meters. This is recognised by many counties and organisations internationally, including the Mediterranean and Caribbean, to drive or hire powerboats.
Completing your powerboat licence now means you could be ready to helm a boat in summer 2025
Course are taught by qualified friendly Erith Yacht Club member instructors in groups of three students.
